About Us

In 2020 Carolyn Brown and Niara Hill, friends and former teammates at the University of Miami, began their mission to empower people through design. After being laid off due to COVID-19, Niara decided to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a designer. She quickly enlisted the help of her friend Carolyn, who equally shares a love for swimwear and fashion.  They embarked on a journey to create the most beautiful and complimentary swimsuits specifically for women of color.

A message from our founders:

We started this journey to create space for women of color and full-figured women in the luxury swimwear market. We are the new brand of luxury swimwear, made in the US, with inclusivity and quality at the forefront of our mission. We believe a woman’s beauty radiates from within, so we’ve created swimsuits that will make underserved markets feel beautiful in their skin.
